Grape Stomp Melee

Always, festivals have been a time of celebration... of partaking of the finer food and drink in honor of the occasion.  To help provide drink to those who celebrate this wondrous time with us, we ask for assistance in producing more of the wine that flows so freely.  Slide off your shoes and bare your legs.  Wash your feet and prepare to stomp.  Climb in and let the fun begin!

Rules:
  • There must be from four to ten participants in each melee.
  • Combatants initialize with 1d100.
  • All participants use 2d24.
  • Combatants are knocked out of the melee upon reaching 10 points of damage.
  • A roll of 15-22 lands the target in the grapes.
  • A roll of 23-24 tosses the target over the side and out of the melee.
  • No one can be knocked out in the first round!  If a 23 or 24 is rolled, the target simply takes regular damage for it.
  • Melee continues until only one person is left in the vat.
  • There is no limit to the number of times a combatant can participate in a melee.  The queue keeper must be contacted to sign up and combatants will be called into the vats in the order in which they appear on the queue keeper's list.
  • A minimum of one proctor will be provided for the duration of this event on each night it is scheduled.  Additional proctors are welcome, if needed.
VPs Awarding:
  • Victor - 10 VPs

  • Combatants - 3 VPs for braving the grapes!

  • Proctor - 1 VP per participant (minimum of 4)
